ESG-criteria
ESG stands for Environment, Social, and Governance. ESG criteria serve as both a guide to steer companies toward sustainability and a benchmark to compare sustainability practices between businesses.
These three criteria ensure that companies operate sustainably and can be held accountable for their actions, which is in the best interest of shareholders and potential investors.
Environment
The environmental criterion focuses on the environmental impact of companies as well as their contribution to environmental protection. It covers areas such as resource management, greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), and energy efficiency.
By installing an enev-kit, you can quickly and efficiently reduce your building’s CO₂ emissions due to heating energy savings. This can amount to up to 111 tons of CO₂ per year per installed enev-kit, along with savings of up to €49,000 annually on heating energy costs.

Social
The social criterion evaluates how a company interacts with its employees, suppliers, customers, and the public with respect to aspects such as diversity, equal treatment and inclusion, working conditions, data protection, and more.
The enev-kit detects not only CO₂ but also temperature and humidity. As a result, installing the enev-kit improves air quality not only in the elevator shaft but throughout the entire building. This leads to better working conditions and also provides greater safety in the event of an evacuation.
Governance
The governance criterion focuses on aspects of corporate leadership such as ethical principles, integrity, transparency, board composition, independent auditing, and regulatory compliance.
