Simplicity Meets Efficiency

How the enev-kit works

Efficient elevator shaft smoke extraction with enev-kit

The enev-kit, a smoke extraction system with ventilation and aeration for elevator shafts, is controlled by a control unit with high-quality sensors. It detects not only smoke but also CO₂, humidity, and temperature.

Depending on the product, the enev-kit consists of a smoke suction system, a suction line made of plastic pipes, a filter unit, a display (enev-kit e5), or point-type smoke detectors (enev-kit el), a control unit, and a motorized NRWG (Natural Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation Device).

With these technologies, we can seal existing openings in elevator shafts while continuously detecting even the smallest smoke particles. The result: savings on heating energy costs, reduced CO₂ emissions, and improved air quality in elevator shafts!

CO₂ Reduction and Heating Energy Cost Savings

The enev-kit is the leading system for smoke extraction and ventilation of elevator shafts. Fully automated and perfectly tailored to the needs of your elevator shaft, it offers an innovative solution. Traditional elevator shafts often have a permanent opening, allowing warm air to escape.

With the enev-kit, you can seal this opening, increasing the building's air tightness. This can save up to €30,000 per elevator annually in heating energy costs and reduce CO₂ emissions by several tons.

1. The System Measures the Temperature

Based on the room climate, the system decides whether the NRWG should be opened for ventilation.

The NRWG opens when the CO₂ level exceeds 1500 ppm (the hygienic indoor air value for fresh air), the temperature rises above 35°C, the room climate reaches a certain humidity level, or the freely programmable intervals for burst ventilation are activated.

Both systems continuously detect smoke particles. If smoke is detected, the built-in NRWG automatically opens to allow the smoke to escape. The enev-kit opens the NRWG automatically in the event of smoke detection, power failure, other malfunctions, or when ventilation functions are activated.

The status of the system can easily be monitored via the enev-kit display. You can view all climate information, including the CO₂ ventilation levels and the temperature in the elevator shaft.
