By sealing the permanent opening in the elevator shaft with the enev-kit, heated air can no longer escape. This results in considerable energy savings, a reduction in CO₂ emissions, and, by preventing mold and moisture, can also improve the air quality in the elevator shaft.

Usually, buildings with elevators have a permanent opening in the shaft ceiling or shaft wall. Because of gaps in the elevator doors, warm indoor air constantly flows upward through this permanent opening to the outside, due to what’s known as the chimney effect.

This not only leads to a loss of warmth inside the building but also significantly increases heating costs. Change this by installing our enev-kit.

How the enev-kit works

Das Entrauchungssystem mit Be- und Entlüftung von Aufzugsschächten wird durch hochwertige Sensoren gesteuert. Je nach Produkt, setzt sich das enev-kit aus dem Rauchansaugsystem, einer Ansaugleitung aus Kunststoffrohr, einer Filtereinheit, einem Display (enev-kit e5) oder aus punktförmigen Rauchmeldern (enev-kit e1) und Control-Einheit sowie einem motorisch betätigten NRWG (Natürliches Rauch- Wärme- Abzuggerät) zusammen. Die Temperatur-, Feuchte- und Zeitsteuerung kann zudem für eine verbesserte Luftqualität im Aufzugsschacht beitragen.

The enev-kit detects smoke particles in the drawn-in air. If smoke particles are detected, the NRWG automatically opens via a spring return. In such cases, the enev-kit can send a signal to switch the elevator into evacuation mode. The alarm state of the enev-kit can only be cleared by performing a reset.
